Citizen Science for Air Quality Monitoring with Alex Long

Addressing Air Quality has been on the minds of many policymakers, academics, and activists since the drive of industry and globalization spread both tremendous opportunity and unregulated levels of a cadre of pollutants that we are now all but forced to inhale. This talk will seek to define burgeoning paradigms in global health, like One Health and citizen science, as well as innovations in technology and approaches to policy that can move us to a 21st century understanding of what it means to be healthy.

Alex Long is a Program Associate for the Science and Technology Innovation Program at the Wilson Center, focusing on STIP’s Innovation Initiatives.
