  • Commemorating the 20th Anniversary of the UN Trafficking in Persons Protocol

    This year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations and the 20th anniversary of the U.N. Trafficking in Persons (Palermo) Protocol. In honor of this landmark occasion, the Government of the United States of America, the Government of Peru, and the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime will co-host a virtual panel discussion to discuss the importance of the Protocol in combating trafficking, historically and with a view towards the next 20 years.
